Reading the table
- Weight limits differ more than prices. If your cat is over 22 lb, the Petlibro Luma (2.2 to 22 lb), the PETKIT Max 3 and the CATLINK Pro Ultra (3.3 to 22 lb) are out on paper; the Litter-Robot 4 and SmartSpin go to 25 lb, the Neakasa M1 Lite Plus to 33 lb (no minimum published).
- Number of cats is published by Whisker only. The others give waste capacity: up to 7 days for 2 cats (Luma), up to 15 days for 1 cat (Max 3), up to 2 weeks (SmartSpin).
- Refills set the gap after year one. The Luma costs about $279 a year in liners, deodorizer and mat at Petlibro's intervals; the Litter-Robot 4 about $97; the Max 3 about $7 in bags [calc]. CATLINK's Pro series bags have no published interval, so its 3-year total covers the carbon filter only and is flagged.

Can I use other bags in the Litter-Robot 4?
Whisker says yes: "you can use any bag that fits in the waste drawer", adding that waste level readings may be inaccurate with a dark bag. Its own liners cost $35 for 50 in our check. Our 3-year totals count Whisker's liners at its once-a-week pace for one cat, so using your own bags lowers them.
Is the Litter-Robot EVO the same as the Litter-Robot 4?
